Sampling is defined as the method in which only those items are included in the sample are observed for the purpose of drawing conclusions about the population from which sample is drawn. Advantages

  • Sampling leads to better accuracy of data collected. In a small sample more efforts are required to reduce the non- sampling errors and non-response bias.
  • Sampling also reduces the excess demand on resources like materials, finance, and personnel.

Disadvantages
