What are the security features present in a credit card to prevent forgeries?

Explanation

There are many security features like CVV security code, hologram, signature panel, account holder name on the card, Expiry date. Apart from this a credit card also contains a BIN (Bank Identification Number) number as one of the main security features. This BIN no is usually a four to six digit number uniquely identifies the institution issuing the card.

What is Spiral Model. List the important phases in Spiral Model.

Explanation

The Spiral Model is an incremental release of the product or incremental refinement through each iteration around the spiral.

i) Useful for large projects involving continuous enhancements.

Phases:

i) Planning: It includes the cost estimation, schedule and resources for the spirals. Identification system requirement and unit requirements are done in this phase.

ii) Risk Analysis: This phase includes identifying, estimating, and monitoring technical feasibility and management risks, such as schedule slippage and cost overrun. Risk mitigation strategy is planned and finalized.

iii) Engineering: It means the production of the actual software product at every spiral. In this phase the actual development and testing of the software takes place.

iv) Evaluation: In this phase, the customer evaluates the product and provides feedback after testing the build.
