List the main difference between ARP and RARP.

Explanation

ARP or Address Resolution Protocol is a network protocol that is used for converting an IP address into a physical address (called a DLC address), for example an Ethernet address.

RARP or Reverse Address Resolution Protocol is used for resolving a data link layer address to the corresponding network layer address.

ARP obtains the physical address of the receiver as soon as it is provided with the logical address of the receiver. Whereas RARP obtains the logical address of the host from the server as soon as it is provided with the physical address of the receiver.
