Describe in Detail

What happens in part “F”?

Part F is large intestine. It is thick in diameter. The large intestine is about 5 feet in length and 6 - 7 cm in diameter in the living body. When the food mixture (chyme) from small intestine go to large intestine, there are hardly any nutrients left. The large intestine still has a very important roll to do though – it takes water from the chyme and returns it to body. As body takes back water, it just leaves waste products behind. These become dryer and harder so it is easier to excrete from the body.
