What do you mean by antibiotic and antibiotic resistance?


Antibiotics- these are also called as antimicrobial drugs that fight infections, which are related to bacteria in humans as well as animals. They, remove infections by either killing the bacteria or making it difficult for the bacteria to grow and multiply. Antibiotics do not have any effect on viruses.

In addition, antibiotic resistance is the ability of bacteria to resist the effects of an antibiotic it occurs when bacteria change in a way that reduces the effectiveness of drugs, chemicals, or other agents designed to cure or prevent infections.

Difference between Insect Pollination and Wind Pollination

1. Insect pollinated flowers are bright colored and wind pollinated flower are dull in color

2. In insect pollination nectar produced in nectary and in wind pollinated flower nectar is not present.

3. The insects will carry pollen from one flower, directly into another. In contrast, the wind will carry all over the place.
