Define circuit training. Draw the diagram of eight stations along with its advantage.
Circuit training is a form of body conditioning or resistance training using high-intensity aerobics. It targets strength building and muscular endurance. An exercise ”circuit” is one completion of all prescribed exercises in the program.
Advantages: - 1) Maximum result in minimum time.
2) It includes cardio exercises also.
3) It covers almost whole body.
4) Circuit training stations are generally sequenced in a way to alternate between muscle groups, which allows for adequate recovery.
