Explanation

Here, Mahi goes to abroad and changes £5000 into Rupees.

They take £50 .

So, now she has £5000£50=£4950 .

Now, £1=99.49Rs .

£4950=?Rs.

4950×99.49Rs.=492475.5Rs.

Find the equation for the line which is perpendicular to y=5x+9 and passing through point (6, 3).

Explanation

Line passing through point (6, 3)

Line passing through point (6, 3)

Showing the line which is passing through point (6, 3) and parallel to y =-5x + 9

  • So, slope of two perpendicular lines is m1m2=1 .

So, we can find slope of required line by using slope of given line y=5x+9 which has slope m1=5.

So, slope of required line = m1m2=1m2=1m1m2=15m2=15.

So, now by using formula of equation passing through a point (6, 3):

yy1=m(xx1) , where, (x1,y1)=(6,3) and m = 15 … (from (I) ).

y3=15(x6)

y3=15x65

y=15x65+3

y=15x+6+155

y=15x+95 .
