How pesticides are harmful for environment? Explain with example.

Explanation

A pesticide is a compound that kill the organisms, which destroy crops and agricultural land. These are also used to control the organism, which transmit some disease like mosquitoes. If pesticides are not used carefully, it can be dangerous. For example, DDT (dichlorodiphenyltrichloroethane) is a pesticide. It will kill the insects but it do not break down and remain in the bodies of insecticides. In addition, transfer from one organism to another organism. It can disturb food chain. Pesticides can be found in the air we breathe, the food we eat, and the water we drink. Pesticides are also linked with human health many problems related to nerve, skin, eye irritation, damage, headache cause due to oversupply of pesticides.
